SOKO - FIRST LOVE NEVER DIES
SOKO really got everything right on this one. The grainy 8mm video, the crappy electronic drum beat drowning in reverb, the post-african guitar strumming and heartfelt vocals singing about days gone by. This is so 2011 it make my eyes hurt. But to be honest, it's not a bad tune..Try not to like it.
BLACK DICE - PIGS

RANGERS - ZOMBIES (DAY)
Texas Ranger Joe Knight makes warbled psych-heavy lo-fi tracks. He released a video for the track 'Zombies (Day)' from his 'Pan Am Stories' LP out on Not Not Fun. The video features old, pleasantly distorted images of this all American airline.
MEGAFORTRESS - MY FAVOURITE GIRL
Bill Gillim is Megafortress, a pop experimentalist from New York. His self-titled EP is about to drop on Daniel Lopatin's Software label. Check out the video for 'My Favourite Girl', it's calm and minimalistic just like the song.
