Club music is not about being an outsider, it’s inherently inclusive: people in space, together moving as one. Call it a ritual, call it enlightenment, call it anything you want. The net result is always the same: bodies connecting and colliding with each other through sound. Somewhere else, in a vaguely familiar setting. Label owner, DJ and producer of both hard hitting club tracks and slow, face melting jams: Anthony Naples brings a lot more to the table to simply categorize his music as ‘outsider house’. Sure, we all like to be outside from time to time, but music like this is not about genres or boundaries, it’s about transcending space and time. This is also true of Border Community’s Wesley Matsell, who grew up in rural Wales and probably knows a thing or two about ‘being outside’. His dj sets are the embodiment of house music in it’s purest form: inherently inclusive, a joyful mishmash of every style that’s fit for dancing. Finally, turning this night into a true celebration of musical diversity, we have Young Marco performing live for the very first time.
