Contributors Wanted

We’re looking for aspiring writers with a passion for new music, as well as a familiarity with the artists we cover, excellent research skills, and experience with web to boost our Editorial team.

As a Subbacultcha contributor, you’ll be asked to write various types of editorial pieces, be it for online or our print publications. More specifically, you’ll be tasked with discovering and covering exciting new music, contributing relevant content to keep our site up-to-date, conducting interviews with and features on new acts, labels, genres and trends, as well as pitching your own ideas.

Interested candidates should have prior writing experience, a penchant for digging up obscure treasures, a keen ear for innovative, emerging and underground sound, and be a native English-speaker. Candidates need not be based in Amsterdam, as much of your work can and will be done from home. Longer form features will be compensated.
