The latest addition to the Tri Angle family is James Kelly with WIFE, the man who until recently was best known for being the mind behind Irish black metal band Altar of Plagues. With his debut release What’s Between coming up, we expect the ambient and unhurried sound of WIFE to change all of that. Crisp electronic melodies accompanied by Kelly’s haunting vocals create a distinctively atmoshperic sound that tempt the mind to be completely absorbed and drift off. The video for the downtempo track “Bodies” pulls us even further in his slightly distributing ambience with visuals of a bolidy ritual involving dirt, antlers and candles.
